This place is fire. I come every Tuesday for lunch for Taco Tuesday and get their 5 for $5 taco deal. You can choose chicken, pork, or steak (1 meat for all 5 tacos) and either American, Mexican, or Tex Mex toppings. I usually go for the pork and tex mex combination and can never finish all 5 because they're so filling (and admittedly heavy).

They also do caramel churros which I had never had before here and when they come out fresh and warm they are absolutely delicious. I have yet to try other things on the menu because honestly the Tuesday taco deal is so good that I feel like I'd be losing money if I didn't get it hahaha. I am interested to try the tongue or tripe in the future, though...

    HIDDEN GEM.

Absolutely delicious!  We hail from California and we KNOW what a good Mexican taco place is supposed to be like!  This place maybe even better than the legit taco places we've been to.

Can never go wrong w the classic tacos, but their more exotic ones...THEY DO IT SO WELL--every single one of them.  I love their lengua and cabeza :)

Some of our favorite classic tacos: suadera and tinga.

All their extra sauces are superb.  Ask for a free sample of the consome soup (hearty and spicy).

Of course, you NEVER forget about their churros.  It's perfectly fried and evenly sugared--none of that dry, overly crispy, sparing with the sugar.  You will love it!!!!!!!

Plus price point is unheard of and the people who work there are so sweet and understanding!

The lamb barbacoa tacos were very good.

The tortilla was soft, chewy, and did not have a gritty texture whatsoever.

The lamb portion was generous. The protein was just slightly grainy and stuck on the tooth, but certainly not in a way that was unbearable.

The horchata was really terrible. It was extremely watered down. It just ended up tasting like milk-water.

Had my first experience at el pique and all in all it was pretty good. I ordered original style tacos - steak and chorizo.   I got them to go and they were very good.   If I go back I will try the Texas style which had some additional vegetables on them, not that's it's a complaint but it seemed like an interesting option.  Yep, if in the area I would go there again for sure but the value isn't as good as my local taco shop, and neither is the interior.  But don't let that put you off - it's still really good!

We stopped here for tacos last night after we got home from Austin.  We were disappointed in some of the taco places we were sent to by locals there, and wanted to compare to a place RJ heard was good here.  This is a little hole in the wall kind of place, and the girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful.  I ordered the chicken, beef, and beef and chorizo tacos, RJ ordered tripe and beef, we shared a tamale, and mine came with rice and beans.  We also ordered 2 diet Cokes.  We paid $22 for this order, in Austin we paid $13 for 6 tacos and a soda.  These tacos were pretty good, but the chicken and pork were a little dry, and the chorizo was greasy.  RJ said his was was good, but not as good as Austin.  You are just not going to get the kind of meat in Delaware that they have in Texas.  Overall these were decent tacos.
